  It was the duty of each Cistercian monastery to welcome pilgrims and visitors. At Fontfroide Abbey, this tradition continues and visitors are welcomed with the same sense of hospitality, with simplicity, know-how and kindness. And the staff at ?La Table de Fontfroide? welcome you in the same spirit. Our ?coquinarius? (name given to a cook in an abbey), Serge ARMENGOL, has built up a warm, simple menu using fresh produce, transformed on the spot. A menu with Mediterranean flavours, centred around the Corbières wines produced by the Abbey. In the dining room, our ?brother hotelier?, Christophe DOMENGE, advises you and listens to your particular requests for that special occasion, wedding or family event.
