In 1937, Pierre Robert goes to the Domaine de Fourn. At that time, he cultivated 1.5 acres of Mauzac, the traditional grape of the Limoux area, on a clay-stony soil.
In 1957, the two sons Jean-Pierre and Auguste decided to remain on the family farm and continue the progression of the areas planted in AOC and marketing.
In 1978 the sons of Jean Pierre, Bernard and Jean Luc cultivate 38 acres of vines mainly in AOC and produce the 4 appellations of Limoux: Blanquette of Limoux, Crémant de Limoux, Blanquette Method Ancestral and Limoux.
Currently Jean Luc's daughters, Mélanie and Lucile, take over the family farm. They cultivate 50 acres of vines. They market 65% of their production for export.
The Domaine de Fourn in Pieusse is the largest private estate that produces grapes and vinifies them in sparkling wines using the traditional method in its underground wine cellar and carries out all pre-market operations.
