DOMAINE VILLEPEYROUX-FOREST

  Between the heathland and the pine forests, in the heart of the Minervois area and a few kilometres from the medieval Citadel of Carcassonne, the Château Villepeyrox-Forest estate grows 40 hectares of vines planted on semi-slopes of mixed clay and chalk soils. At the present time around a dozen grape varieties are cultivated here: Chardonnay, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet, Syrah, Merlot, Marselan to name but a few. Our family vineyard gives pride of place to producing wines that express the authentic character of the wine growing area. In order to do so we have chosen to process grapes from our best areas in limited quantities, in order to prioritise quality. In order to preserve their rich taste, wines from our storehouses have not been filtered.
