Château Maris is located in the heart of the Minervois, between Toulouse and Montpellier. It stretches over 45 hectares above La Livinière, Ecocert certified in 2002 then Biodyvin in 2004, Demeter in 2008 and Bcorps in 2016. Our cellar is 100% vegetal, 9,000 m2, completely biodegradable, with a negative carbon footprint . Our cellar is a unique place where our wines are made in custom-made vats made of wood, thick concrete or egg-shaped in order to avoid the use of electrically conductive materials.
Our customers can register for a visit to the estate which consists of a walk in the vineyards, visit of the cellar and a tasting of our wines. In summer there are special events and picnics can be ordered to savor around a bottle in our vineyards. contact hannah@chateaumaris.com
