CELLIER DES DEMOISELLES

  The Cellier des Demoiselles was established in 1914, just before the First World War, by a handful of wine growers. The origin of its name is a tribute to the young women of the village who, in the absence of their husbands, proved themselves able to do everything needed to preserve our wines and our wine growing soils. Today we are continuing the tradition by making wines that reflect the qualities of those women: fruit and flowers for some blends, character and strength for others. By doing so we bring out all the characteristic features of our outstanding wine growing area.
