Description
THE VAR, COLOR VERDON
Our territory extends from east to west in the Haut-Var, on the left bank of the Verdon.
It is composed of four landscapes:
- the Verdon Gorges,
- the lakes of the Sainte-Croix and of Artignosc-sur-Verdon,
- the hills of the Haut-Var,
- the prealps of the Artuby.
It is crossed by small roads where the history of mankind can be read at every turn: from prehistoric sites to oppidums, then from castles to artists' residences.
Take your time, our landscapes are surprising and our villages welcoming.
