Location
Description
Land of contrasts, with its undulating terrain, located in the heart of the Loire department, the Forez-Est destination is the result of cooperation between 42 municipalities.
From 300 to 1000 meters of altitude, extends a country with 1000 faces, green and generous, of the plain of Forez crossed by the river Loire in the west to the Monts du Lyonnais in the east; from the spa town of Montrond-les-Bains, south, to Violay and its famous Tour Matagrin at 1004 meters to the north.
On foot, by bike, by car ... roaming is the perfect way to discover this territory landscapes, reliefs and tourist wealth of a wide variety.
