OFFICE DE TOURISME DE PEZENAS VAL D'HERAULT

  The Tourist Office of Pézenas-Val d'Hérault represents a district comprising 16 essentially rural communes in the vicinity of Pézenas. It not only proposes the traditional services of a tourist office - welcome and tourist information, promotion, accommodation - but also promotes its own particularities. In the context of the ?Pays d'Art et d'Histoire? Label (Art and History Region), a heritage department has been opened, run by the Tourist Office. Hence, not only does it organise guided tours, but has on its premises a ?Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine? (Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre), promoting the topic: ?the town mansion - building in the 17th Century?, in addition to an education department. It also manages cultural facilities: the Molière Scenovision, which illustrates in 3-D, the life and works of the famous author and comedian. Three branches are open all year round in Bessan, Montagnac and Pomerols
