Le Domaine de la pointe des châteaux

  Within the Domaine de la Pointe des Châteaux, La Maison du Coco, the only producer of virgin coconut oil in Europe, is a farm with over 7 hectares, nestled in the heart of a coconut plantation and a tropical orchard.
There, visitors will discover all the secrets of the "Tree of life" (the coconut tree) via an interactive workshop consisting of 3 stages:
- Origin and uses of the coconut on Reunion island: Learn all about this palm tree and the various uses of its fruit, the coconut
- Culinary transformations: Cook the coconut, learn to clean it, grate it sat on the traditional stools and there you have it, everyone is ready to make lovely coconut sweets or coconut punch.
Palm weaving introduction: Learn the basics of this age-old tradition.
You will have a tasting session: fresh coconut, water, virgin oil, molasses, coconut sugar, as well as our artisanal sorbet.
Finally, La Maison du Coco also offers a completely coconut lunch! Impossible not to succumb to temptation.
