Discovered in 1953, La Verna is accessible to the general public since 2010.In the heart of mountains limestones of Soule and of Barétous, between Country-Basque and Béarn, the cave is a geologic site of exception, in the outstanding volumes. The Cave of Verna is the biggest subterranean room open to the public and lenlightened to the world. The extraordinary human adventure connected to the subterranean exploration and the discovery of Verna and abyss of Pierre Saint Martin, will be the electrical wire of your visit.
