Founded in 1358, Le Moulin à Huile de la Chartreuse is one of the oldest mills in France still in operation. It is a popular institution located in the historical centre of Villeneuve-lez-Avignon. During the manufacturing process in November, everyone can bring their own olives to the mill. Le Moulin stays open to the public throughout the month.You are welcome to come and visit our mill on any day of the week all year round. No reservations required for individuals. We will take the time to tell you about our history and our profession. We will reveal the secrets of our blends and all the subtleties of our flavours. We will teach you how to correctly read the labels on bottles of extra virgin olive oil from France.
