Description
Arles-sur-Tech Abbey: protector saints from the Orient. In the heart of Vallespir, the Romanesque city of Arles-sur-Tech owns one of the most ancient Benedictine abbeys, founded in Catalonia (778 AD). The unexplainable formation of water in the Sainte Tombe and the legend of Saints Abdon and Sennen, shadowed by the vaults of the first Gothic cloister in Roussillon, make this site a place of beliefs, originating from bygone years.
