The Decoster family took over Château Fleur Cardinale in 2001.
Since the very beginning they have worked and lived at the wine estate.
With the help of the team that was in place,
the estate was awarded the rank of Grand Cru Classé in 2006.
The property today covers 23.5 hectares (58 acres), and the vineyard is in the process of conversion to organic farming.
Up till now, we have enjoyed receiving visitors convivially in our home, but we’ve always had to limit the number of guests at one time. After three years and half of works, our cellar will enable us to receive larger numbers. However, the spirit in which we receive our visitors will not change: welcoming visitors into the intimacy of our world.
Following our opening up to wine tourism, we were fortunate to be distinguished with a Best of Wine tourism 2022, in the Discovery and Innovation category as well as a Best of Wine tourism 2023, in the environemental pratices in wine tourism category.
