Location
Description
Built during the 12 and 13th Centuries, the castle became a museum in 1993. It deals with the ancient industries and crafts (porcelaine, stone quarries, ...) in Chauvigny and its surroundings during the 19th and 20th Centuries. Modern Art pieces related with terracotta punctuate the course. An elevator in Chauvigny stone designed by Sylvain Dubuisson leads to the panoramic terrace. 2 suitable parking spaces nearby. In season, the medieval city becomes pedestrian. People with disabilities can request the opening of the terminal at the Chauvigny Tourist Office.
