The Allaudian nature theater is located in the former Imbert quarry, acquired in 1978, at the exit of the village. This "antique theatre" built in 2000, can accommodate more than 800 people in an exceptional setting.
It allows our city to present great shows in a grandiose setting where the force of nature rubs shoulders with human magic.

The rocky dominance of the site combines with the ultra-modern architecture of its installation, conducive to very visual shows, in a space offering a magnificent panorama over the plain and the harbor of Marseille.
The structure is often used at night, so light plays an essential role in creating atmosphere and decor. It plays on quarry faces and monumental platforms.
The small house located at the entrance houses the ticket offices. You then enter a vast esplanade of 3000 m2. Parking area on the days of theatrical performances (120 places), it hosts events such as the fires of Saint John.
On the other side, the theater spreads out at your feet. Arranged in an arc, the bleachers have 800 fixed seats. The proscenium increases the capacity to 1,200 seats. A central corridor leads down to a very beautiful stage. The stage back wall, designed by an architect and a visual artist, is reminiscent of a theater curtain. The dressing rooms, storage rooms and scenery transfer area are hidden behind this monumental work.
Traditional events, theatrical creations, prestigious concerts, the theater of nature allows our city to develop certain shows, and to welcome new ones in a grandiose setting where the force of nature rubs shoulders with human magic.
